Day - 1 : NJP Rly Stn / IXB Airport Pick up - Siliguri

On arrival at NJP station / IXB airport welcome by our Representative & transfer to Siliguri. Check-in to your hotel . Night halt at Siliguri.

Day - 2 : Pick up from Siliguri early morning & Transfer to Phuentsholing & Make Tourist Permit & Phuentsholing - Thimphu & Night Stay

Pick up from Siliguri at morning & Transfer to Phuentsholing via Jaigaon. It is approximately 155 km & 4 hours from Siliguri. Phuentsholing is a border town located at the foothills of Bhutan. Tourist Permit at Phuentsholing Immigration Office & Transfer to Thimphu, (which is Approx. 5 Hours/ 155 Km from Phuentsholing town). Enroute see waterfalls and Chukha Dam (Top View). Check-In at Hotel & Overnight Stay in Thimphu.

Day - 3 : Thimphu Sightseeing & Night Stay Thimphu

Thimphu is the capital and largest city of Bhutan. After Breakfast: Visit - Memorial Chorten, Buddha Point, Sangaygang View Point, Takin Zoo [National Animal of Bhutan], Folk Heritage Museum, National Painting School, Handicrafts & Textile Museum, Tashicchhoe Dzong (Thimphu Dzong), Coronation Park & Simply Bhutan. You can also visit Centenary farmers Market if time allows. Back to Hotel & Night Stay at Thimphu.

Day - 4 : Make Punakha Special Permit & Excursion to Punakha Sightseeing Back to Thimphu & Night Stay at Thimphu

After Breakfast: Processing of Special Permit for Punakha from Thimphu Immigration Office & Transfer to Punakha - It is approximately 90 kilometers from Thimphu. Enroute Visit Dochu la Pass, Chhimi Lhakhang, Punakha Dzong & Suspension Bridge (Longest Bridge in Bhutan). Back to Thimphu from Punakha. Overnight Stay in Thimphu.

Day - 5 : Thimphu to Paro & Sightseeing & Night Stay at Paro

After Breakfast - Transfer to Paro via Tachog Lhakhang & Chuzom e (Meeting point of two rivers) En Route visit Paro International Airport View Point. Paro is the site of the country's only international airport and is also known for the many sacred sites in the area. After Breakfast: - Visit Dungtse Monastery, Kichu Lhakhang Monastery, Drukgyal Dzong Out View (Presently closed for Tourist & Under Renovation),Tiger Nest Monastery (View Point), Paro Dzong, Paro Museum, Nye Mey Zam Bridge & Paro Town - Check in at Hotel & Night Stay at Paro.

Day - 6 : Excursion to Chele-La Pass or Tiger Nest Trekking & Night Stay at Paro

Option 1 After Breakfast: En-route visit: Chele La (Pass) Located at an elevation 3,988 meters is considered to be one of the highest motorable passes in Bhutan. About an hour's drive along a densely-populated forest road. This Pass is also known to be a 'botanical paradise'. The pass provides stunning views of the sacred mountain Jhomolhari and Jichu Drake. It is also marked by hundreds of prayer flags fluttering in the wind. Here, visitors can see cascades of wild roses; purple and yellow premolars; and swathes of deep blue iris covering the forest floor. The top of the pass bloom with rhododendrons in a variety of colors-pale pink, deep pink, burnt orange, mauve, white and scarlet. Drive back to Paro. Overnight Stay at Paro. Option 2 Start the day early for a day hike to Taktsang Lhakhang (Tiger's Nest Monastery) - The hike which is all the way uphill takes about 2 /3 hours one way through pine forests. Trek distance for Tiger's Nest: 4.5 kilometers one way. Total trek distance: 9 kilometers. Elevation gain during Tiger's Nest trek: 2000 feet Total Duration: 8-9hours (on Avg) Overnight stay at Paro.

Day - 7 : Paro to Siliguri drop via Phuentsholing (315 km & 8 hours)

After Breakfast: Check-Out from Hotel - Proceed to Phuentsholing. It is Approximately 155 kilometers and is nearly 4.5 hours drive. After that transfer to Siliguri (Approx 3.5 hours i.e. 160 km). Night stay at Siliguri.

Day - 8 : Departure -NJP Rly station/ IXB airport drop

Morning free for packing & personal activities. After breakfast Check out from hotel and transfer to NJP railway station / IXB airport for your onward journey. TOUR ENDS HERE
